94% of car accidents are caused by human error. Humans are not good drivers, and if asked what good driving is, will usually describe some variation of car racing, like fast cornering, braking etc. Good driving is mostly a social activity, it's about how you drive in relation to others on the road, not some fast driving skills you have. Machines will take over a lot of driving. No human can come anywhere near them for the basics of paying attention and adjusting the driving according to other vehicles on the road. Many, many lives will be saved.
