Patrick Collins was a soldier in World War 1. When his camp became infected with the Spanish Flu, he took his tent and went to the top of a hill by himself, with nothing but his rum ration. He sweated and shivered and was delirious for days, on his own. He was one of the camp's only survivors. Fresh air. Powerful stuff.
