Not owning your feelings, an example. You can’t feel your body. Say you have a sore back, and you feel the pain there. Are you feeling your back? No, you’re feeling the feelings of you ‘going inside to feel my back’. If you were watching TV and felt your back at the same time, your back would be functioning entirely differently to when you went inside to feel it, so it would feel completely different. Your back is not an isolated thing that can be felt, it’s part of what all of you is doing at the time. Ditto for the rest of your body. You can’t feel your body, you ARE your body. You can’t step outside it to feel it, feeling it changes the feelings. The feelings you have will always be feelings of what all of you is up to, in your activity, in the world.
