I wonder sometimes if the loudest voices on climate denial remember this fact. Having spent a few decades now actively and wilfully spreading misinformation, a time will come when they may be put on trial (literally) for crimes against humanity. Their little shallow political and debating wins today could see them jailed in the future. Here’s The International Court of Justice in The Hague, where such things do happen. The denialists will have no defence, they’re idiot enough to have done things like wave lumps of coal around in parliaments. Justice remembers, you run somebody over and get away with it today, you’ll still be jailed years from now if they catch up with you.
