Have you ever watched a show or film, and noticed that you’re not observing something the camera captures, you’re occupying a point of view? There’s no person ‘in’ the film with that point of view. But it’s also not just you looking *at* the scene, like you’re looking at CCTV. The show or film is the perception of a mind, which you inhabit. You cry, jump, get scared etc.
