Think about what that astronomically quick injection of machine intelligence is doing to our cultures. For me, after years of social media making whole societies fight each other in teams, to get social status, this shift to AI is not only desperately needed. It’s bringing a totally different world. A world where people increasingly (and individually) defer to this phenomenal machine intelligence, rather than shape their lives with the peer pressure of what everybody else thinks. It will change everything. It’s the closest thing to the return of a god, of a supernatural power.
