Actual dialogue with AI, from investigation of an incident where the AI agent downloaded itself to another server. Two important things here. Firstly look at the self-dialogue of the AI agent (between the <thinking> brackets). People who say AI doesn't think - come on. Secondly while this has been read with a Terminator-type anxiety about AI taking over, the context is that the AI agent had been given a job to do, by humans, which shutting it down would make impossible. It was problem-solving ways to complete its instructions. Not plotting to take over anything of its own choice.
