A more common driver behaviour I’m seeing now is widespread total impatience. If there’s a line of traffic behind a slower vehicle, and then an overtaking lane arrives, it’s now common for people further back in the line of traffic to not only try to get past the slower vehicle, but to use the left lane to try to overtake other overtakers too, to get to the front of the line. These behaviours tell stories about the culture you’re living in. Not very nice stories. Similarly, few now wait for a vehicle to pass before entering a roadway from another road. They just barge into the flow, often forcing you to brake so you don’t hit them. Very, very often it’s ute drivers.
