The brutal reality of adult life is that it’s just high school life, hidden behind fancy words. Take any major issue facing societies, and history shows that no change occurred without disaster or catastrophe. Nothing else will break social hierarchies. Housing just one more example. The only thing that has ever driven prices down is disaster. Without that, everybody just protects their own turf. Their own ‘team’.
