I read things like this, and then look around me at how people are living as if nothing is happening, as disasters that could wipe out our entire civilisation carry on, with nothing being done. Covid the same. 20,000 Australians died of Covid last year, I don't think I saw more than 2 or 3 other people even mention it, here. I talk about these things because they're interesting, to me anyway. Not because they're positive or negative - they're neither of those things. They just are. Nobody is going to fix them for you. The 70 years after WW2 where we had nothing much but peace and prosperity is over. You will have to defend your life and that of your family in multiple ways. To be prepared. Much easier to do that now where the changes are just modifications of your lifestyle, rather than panic emergency action, as we saw in the last bushfires and floods. 'Living your best life' while ignoring these things means they will come and find you. You don't want that.
