At the moment it’s thought between 10-20% of people who get Covid will also get Long Covid. Or in simpler words, will end up with chronic disease, potentially lethal, or potentially lifelong if it doesn’t kill you. Chronic disease is conditions like heart disease, cancer, MS, Parkinson’s, Alzheimers etc. This data shows that if 10-20% of all Covid cases (yellow and grey lines) turn into Long Covid, and we keep infecting everybody repeatedly, EVERYBODY will end up with Long Covid. A public health catastrophe. Societies won’t survive.
