Ever noticed that when you pay attention to something well, there is no you? It disappears, you become ‘one’ with what you’re paying attention to (though it’s not you paying attention, it’s not something you do). You have to stop paying attention to be ‘you’ again. It’s so easy to be stuck in the illusion that your ‘me’ is the foundation of your experience. It’s a secondary, created thing, born of lack of attention to the world.
