We should have eliminated the virus completely at point 1 in May, at the end of lockdown 1. Just needed 3-4 more weeks (see the small bumps at 1, which we didn’t stamp out and which then created 2.) Instead we opened up, and then needed another 6 months and one more lockdown. The people who say we should live with the virus might soon struggle to do that. There might not be any. No thanks to them.
