My annual trawl through NAPLAN. These are two schools said to have made ‘remarkable’ gains, by strategies such as employing a writer in residence, and having regular meetings to track student progress. Both ‘gains’ are within the margin of error. And these are schools said to be doing well, the ones that supposedly aren’t don’t even bother the error bars.
