In the UK, everybody talks about what 'the people' want. In Australia everybody interprets the election here as what 'the people' wanted. 3 years ago they (the ones who bothered to vote in the UK) decided they wanted to leave Europe, by a small margin. Now it's reversed. The moral of the story, only the people know what the people want. Everybody else is talking out their butt.
