Amazing watching the Europeans make a meal of heat pumps. Everybody should want a heat pump, they’re engineering marvels. 600+% efficiency! And save you shitloads of money to boot. I watched the neighbour install a new gas heater this week, and wanted to say ‘what the hell are you thinking?’ It would have cost him more to buy and install, and it’ll cost him an absolute fortune to run. And people still installing wood fires. Ffs.
