This interests me more all the time. Look at this GOT scene through the lens of ideas of consent. Incidentally I think the scene is great, it’s the ideas of consent that are the problem here. TV reflects public attitudes. - violent killer interrogates partner, with previous history of being abused, on their previous sexual history, demanding to know about their past lovers - violent killer instigates sex with partner, no consent is sought or explicitly given.
