People are still obsessed with Trump, and not with what made him possible. He's a distraction. And as this piece says, the other side of the political fence - the progressives - are masters at "gorging themselves on symbolism", and actually achieving nothing..."there’s a difference between things that look different and make you feel good, and things that make a difference and actually do good." Obama, or the Obamas, definitely made progressives feel good. They're lovely people. Trudeau is the same in Canada. But the test has to be things that make a difference and actually DO good, not things that make us feel good.
