This is social media society. Where instead of each of us just doing the jobs we’re trained to do, everybody is suddenly an expert on everything. And these platforms then aggregate all of our ignorant opinions on things we know nothing about, and give ‘influence’ (power) to the people who generate the most ‘likes’ with their bullshit opinions. That’s what populism means. Where power goes to the most popular. Who are always full of shit.
