I shared recently how Multiple Sclerosis is now known to be caused by long-term (chronic) infection with Epstein Barr virus, the virus that causes glandular fever. Now they’ve discovered the chronic infection that likely causes Parkinson’s DIsease. Chronic infection is almost certainly the cause of nearly all of our chronic diseases, including the biggies like heart disease and strokes. Not diet or genes. Worth thinking about that if you’re letting yourself get repeated infections with Covid. That acute phase, where you get sick for a week or so, is just the front door opening to the virus. It can then live inside you for years, before striking. Just as HIV did, with AIDS.
