Last year I argued with people here about Covid and school safety. I feel vindicated that the year since has proved Covid spreads in schools as easily if not more easily than everywhere else, that children are infected as easily if not more easily than everybody else, and also suffer severe consequences of having Covid. We saw none of that here not because 'schools are safe', but because we had no Covid. A year on, a new variation on the outrageous lack of care for children, from the UK. Because children aren't being vaccinated yet, the virus is now spreading like wildfire amongst UK children and schools, which are being opened right up. What does the UK government do? Simply remove that data from the report. This entire pandemic, and all these deaths, is caused by the people who think we live in an Economy, not a society. Who think restrictions on social activity, including borders, are the enemy, because those things stop businesses making money. Anybody who continually calls for us to 'open up' (anything - shops, borders, whatever) is one of these lethal idiots.
