Humans as we know them have existed for about 300,000 years. Compare that to dinosaurs, who lived for about 165 million years. They lived for 550 times longer than humans have currently existed. Changes in climate likely led to their extinction. How much money would you bet on us getting even to a million years, let alone 165 million, given our total apathy about climate change? https://www.salon.com/2023/11/29/most-dinosaurs-were-by-climate-change-not-a-meteorite-new-study-suggests/
