I love that you can't even start a petrol or diesel engine, without an electric motor. And that they need to sit running (idling) even when they're not going anywhere, otherwise you need to fire up the electric motor again to re-start them. Rubbish technology, get rid of the combustion bit and just use a bigger starter motor. Which is basically an EV.
