The damage to the immune system caused by Covid that I often post about is sometimes lymphocytopenia. Damage to your immune T cells and B cells. Patients with lymphocytopenia experience recurrent infections or develop infections with unusual organisms. Others have normal blood counts but the B and T cells are so stressed they’re behaving in crazy ways. Same outcome, badly damaged immunity. If you and/or the people you know seem to be getting recurrent infections and find it harder to resolve them, that’s what’s going on. Every new Covid infection makes it worse. The travelling, gigging, dining out kidult mob has decided Covid is harmless for you. You’ll have to save your own life. Which will mean doing unpopular things, like wearing a mask, getting vaccinated and insisting on ventilated rooms where you work. Because most people in a kidult culture would rather die than be unpopular, the prognosis is bad.
