John Deacon (bass player in Queen) is considered a bit weird, because he refused to have a single thing to do with rock n roll after Freddie Mercury died. He wanted to go home and spend the rest of his life with his family. He's an example of the sort of 'adult' mindset I often post about. His was by far the most sane decision, only in gig culture would it seem weird. He wanted to be a grown up, something being a rock star wouldn't allow him to be.
