The best car review I’ve ever seen. A real car enthusiast, not with any axe to grind. He shows what I’ve posted about here before. What makes Teslas such remarkable vehicles is that they take all of the things people previously bought separate cars for - performance, safety, comfort, affordability, efficiency, practicality, connectivity, luxury - and it puts all of it inside ONE car. For the price of an ordinary family car. That would have been seen as impossible, before Tesla. To tick all of those boxes, with a single vehicle. This is what happens when you let engineering drive the company. As this guy said, previously he owned multiple cars, to tap into all of those different needs. Now he just needs one. And that one gets better all the time, with over-the-air upgrades. He doesn’t have to keep buying new models. I’m not a Tesla ‘fanboy’. I’m not a ‘fan’ of anything, I’m a grown up. I just think life gets infinitely better if you put knowledge and engineering at the centre of everything. If another company were to do this even better, I’d shift to them. This goes way beyond cars for me, this is how ALL life could be, if we put knowledge and engineering first.
