Conservatives protected every life, even the unborn, with ferocious conviction. Until Covid, when suddenly the economy was under threat. Guess what got priority? (Hint: not your life.) To be fair, modern conservatives aren't conservatives, they're employees of major industry lobby groups. Why conservative parties now only ever have 2 policies, which they use for all issues: cut taxes, cut regulations. That's what the industry lobbies want.
