Today Peter Dutton releases laughable ‘modelling’ to say nuclear power is the best option for Australia. Do you know anybody who’s ever worked with nuclear technology? I do - me. I can tell you right here, nuclear power woud be the single most stupid decision Australians could make for this country. We should be a global energy superpower with our renewables resources. Investors know it, they’re queuing up to invest here. Not one is looking to invest in nuclear. Because it’s bullshit technology in 2024. Outrageously expensive and complex, and dangerous. Also very thirsty, you need a lot of water. This from the party that pretends it’s for the ‘market’, now committing Australians to hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars, because the market knows it’s bullshit and won’t invest in it. Like a Soviet government of the 1950s. You can’t make this shit up. Be smarter Australia. For once in your fucking life, think.
