This is Bathurst. People know I love patterns, and what they show. Bathurst is not unusual for modern cities, no strong pattern at all, it's sprawl. What does that mean? It means what it shows - no cohesive social activity. Just thousands of individuals strewn across the landscape, connected only by cars and roads. There's no real centre here, except in name. The farm land around the town is simple geometrical shapes forced onto the landscape. Everything (town and country) is individual territories fenced off mostly into squares and rectangles of different sizes. A mosaic of disconnected individuals.
