Another reality filter. Everything we think and feel ultimately can be traced back to an idea or ideas. We often miss that I think because we mistake ideas for the people who adopt them as beliefs. (It’s literally an adoption - the ideas are not ‘theirs’.) Once you start looking you can see all of society as the play and fight of ideas. I’d be interested if anybody can find a single thing in society that isn’t ultimately an idea at work.
