Because of renewables, gas consumption to make electricity last year was 30% lower than it was just 5 years previously. In the next 4 years it's projected to fall up to another 66%. It's not a debate, it's engineering and economics. It's already happening, nobody is waiting for the debaters to reach a conclusion.
