Watching the big election bribery cash splash. I mean budget. The usual stuff both sides trot out, idolising small business. There’s nothing wrong with small business. But it isn’t the engine room of our economy, or any economy. The fact Australia has so many of them is I think a sign of our economic immaturity and fragility. Also, the LNP is edging closer and closer to a flat tax structure. I don’t think the danger and injustice of flat taxes is really understood. And tax cuts, what’s going to pay for the services our old population needs? More burden on the young?
