A friend who’s a public health professional, who lost his own daughter to Covid, compiled this chart to show how every time we remove protections, people get sick and die. Our politicians call those protections ‘restrictions’, because they’re bastards. They know calling them restrictions will make people think removing public health measures is ‘freedom’. Just as changing the word ‘quarantine’ (which suggests containing a virus) to ‘lockdowns’ (which suggests locking people up, not the virus), got everybody to cheer when those protections were removed. They play us like puppets.
